Hellion rifle with trigger and other upgrades

Posted by Zackeriah Thurman on Mar 27th 2026

I ordered an unavailable colorway after emailing Dave. It took some time because of springfield themselves dragging feet about said discontinued FDE rifle. Long story short.....Dave was always an email away and bent over backwards to obtain what I wanted, upgraded the trigger (which is bitchin!) And threw on other upgrades that I had ordered at the same time. All for an AMAZING price. You can't beat it. Ill be a BTT customer for life. Can't recommend enough.

    Stage 2 Hellion

Posted by Jonathan Chow on Mar 7th 2026

I've been bullpup-curious for quite a while. A little bit ago I got to try out a few 5.56 bullpups and really liked the VHS2 Hellion the most out of the ones I tried. However, the stock trigger, to be polite about it, was not the greatest. A little bit of time passed and I saw a few reviews/videos for the Black Talon trigger and thought "Why not, it can't be any worse than the stock trigger and I'll have Hellion." Long story short, All I can say that this Stage 2 Hellion is definitely well worth it. Just pull the trigger on it if you're considering one. I highly recommend to those that are bullpup-curious. This thing is incredible.

    Hellion with upgraded trigger

BTT did an incredible job with this Hellion. The trigger is fantastic. The reset barely moves. I will recommend them to anyone interested in what they do.
