Black Talon Tactical Upgraded Springfield Kuna
The factory Springfield Kuna trigger has a whopping 10mm of travel including over travel with a pull force of around 5.5 lbs.
We at Black Talon Tactical have re-designed the Kuna trigger, it now has 2.25mm TOTAL trigger travel, including over travel, the reset is about 1mm with a pull force of 3.5 pounds. This trigger comes VERY close to our premium drop-in AR triggers.
We also offer our Curved, Straight and IFP (Improved Finger Position) trigger shoes made from 17-4 stainless steel that can be installed during the upgrade.
We also offer a safety spring upgrade that cuts the force required to activate the safety in half while still maintaining a nice positive click that can be installed during the upgrade.
The work we do will not void the guns warranty.

Trigger Work
Gun is a Kuna - so great gun there. The Black Talon trigger work has three aspects: 1. Trigger shoe. The IFP feels great. 2. Length of pull is stupid short. I love this! 2.1mm total pull. Crazy short. 3. Trigger weight. Here's where I knock off a star. Promoted as 3-3.5lb. Mine is 5-6lbs depending on where on the trigger I measure it from. A little misleading. Now, a huge deal on a PCC with 2mm of total trigger travel? Not really. But still misleading between what's promoted and what I got.

Kuna Perfected
I researched the Springfield Kuna extensively after it was launched and kept finding the same comments from reviewers..."Great gun, mediocre trigger." So when I ran across Black Talon's solution, I jumped on it. They took a great gun and made it perfect. The trigger they provide is now the favorite of my collection which includes triggers from some big names in the industry. The pull weight is light, but still safe and the reset is almost microscopic. I chose to have them set it up with the IFP trigger shoe and find that it's great for rapid controlled fire, but I can still make more precise shots by utilizing the curved section at the end. Finally, they also upgraded the safety spring. It's easy to flip on/off with my thumb but still has a positive enough detent to stay where I put it. If you're in the market for a Kuna, call Black Talon. Great folks and excellent products/technology!
